Bulletin of Physics and Applied Mathematics

Bulletin of Physics and Applied Mathematics is a journal that continues the tradition of Scientific Bulettin. Physics , which ceased its activities at the end of 2021. The journal publishes articles by the staff and students of the Institute of Physics of the University of Lodz and the Institute of Mathematics of the University of Lodz, the staff of the Center for Teaching Mathematics and Physics of the University of Lodz as well as the researchers from other universities, on the recent developments in all areas of physics, mathematics and didactics in physical and mathematical sciences.

Within the field of physical sciences the journal focuses on aspects related to:

  • solid state physics,
  • liquid crystals,
  • statistical physics,
  • mathematical physics,
  • general relativity theory and field theory,
  • quantum mechanics,
  • physics didactics.

Within the field of mathematics, aspects of interest to the journal include: 

  • mathematical analysis,
  • algebra,
  • financial mathematics,
  • didactics of mathematics.

One issue per year is published. The journal publishes articles in English (preferred) and Polish. All papers are peer-reviewed. The journal is indexed in the BazTech database.
